SOMA
project type / book design, photography, paper production
date / 2021
“S_oma” is an answer to my bachelor thesis questions. Inspired by my own story of loneliness during the pandemic,
I decided to create an object that was an imitation of the person whose touch and closeness I was deprived of.
My main goal was to find the means to embody people with whom we had lost close contact. The book I created has become a transitional object, sharpening the senses and
activating memories (embodied book). ted it with my poems, which together create a coherent story of the publication.
